Eurosport Events teams up with the World Dressage Masters

Dutch-based company WDM Management BV, organiser of the Word Dressage Masters, has appointed Eurosport Events as the TV Producer and Official Media Partner of the 2011 Word Dressage Masters season.

As part of the partnership agreement, Eurosport Events will be in charge of the TV production of the "Kur to Music” event, a prestigious choreographed competition considered as the pinnacle of dressage execution.
Eurosport Events will be also the licensing agent handling Media rights distribution on a worldwide basis.

The 2011 World Dressage Masters will receive TV coverage on Eurosport, Europe's #1 pan-European TV channel reaching over 123 million homes across 59 countries.
For each of the events on this year's WDM calendar, Eurosport will broadcast a 26-minute highlights magazine as part of the "Wednesday Selection", a weekly prime-time programme featuring a selection of the best action from around the world in golf, sailing and equestrian sports.

The 2011 WDM season features four events: Palm Beach (USA) 9-11 March, Munich (GER) 2-5 June, Falsterbo (SWE) 7-9 July and Hickstead (GBR) 29-31 July.
Eight of the world's top riders will compete this season, for the 400,000 Euros prize money, making it the world's richest dressage series.
The World Dressage Masters, presented by Axel Johnson Group, was founded by equestrian innovator Exquis and the international sports marketing agency SportBizz in 2008.

2010 Hickstead WDM GRAND PRIX Freestyle to Adelinde & Jerich Parzival

 

The crowd stands up for the Exquis World Dressage Masters champions, Adelinde Cornelissen and Jerich Parzival.
Adelinde Cornelissen and Jerich Parzival dominated the final Exquis World Dressage Masters of the year with a resounding victory in the Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday with Dutch team mate Hans Peter Minderhoud on Exquis Nadine producing what some observers felt was their best ever performance for runnerup. 

 

 

 

Carl Hester & Liebling Win 2010 World Dressage Masters CDI5* Grand Prix Special

 

Carl Hester, in the first CDI 5* since getting the ride back on Liebling II, won the €30,000 (US$37,500) Moorlands Grand Prix Special at the Exquis World Dressage Masters Sunday and most likely securing a place on Great Britain’s team for the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky next month.

 

Adelinde and Jerich Parzival post best ever Grand Prix Score at 2010 WDM Hickstead

Adelinde Cornelissen rode Jerich Parzival to victory in the Nürnberger Grand Prix at the Exquis World Dressage Masters Saturday with their best ever Grand Prix score of 81.362 per cent while Laura Bechtolsheimer and Andretti turned in their best ever result of 73.362 per cent for runnerup and home side joy.

    • The 2010 WDM events all have been designated with the highest rating of       CDI 5* by the International Equestrian Federation ( FEI ). All three venues hosted an World Dressage Masters in its inaugural year in 2009. The City of Cannes , on the French Riviera, was also among the 2009 shows. As the date in 2010 places it amidst the national championships in both The Netherlands and Germany , participation in 2010 is being reviewed. Each competition consists of a Grand Prix with prize money of €10,000 of up to 20 riders from the top of the FEI Rider Rankings List, qualifying through a CDI 3* or by special invitation.

      I am delighted to let you know that Hickstead International was  voted into 3rd place in the l’Annee Hippique poll of outdoor shows 2009, just ahead of Hagen       CDI and Munich and only eclipsed by the major shows of Rotterdam and Aachen. Great news!
