Entries: £15.00 per class (late entries at £17.00 may be accepted subject to space). "Friends of Dressage at Hickstead” for 2012 are entitled to a discount of £2.00 per class entry: complete the box on the entry form. All entries must be sent to the Secretary (address on entry form) to arrive by the closing date. No refund of entry fees will be given for any withdrawals notified to the organisers after the closing date. SCROLL DOWN TO SCHEDULE

Closing date for entries: 10 days prior to day of competition. DatH Championships entries close 20 August 2012. To avoid disappointment submit your entries as early as possible. The organisers reserve the right to limit the number of entries in each class to fit the time available

UNAFFILIATED COMPETITION RULES AND CONDITIONS

GENERAL

Unless otherwise stated competitions will be conducted under British Dressage Rules and the rules set out below. All entries are made in full knowledge and acceptance of these rules.

Eligibility

Classes 1 & 2: open to non-professional riders (ie those who do not make their living from riding or teaching riding). However, we also welcome professionals at these levels but would ask them to use their discretion and enter HC.

Classes 3 & 4 are open to horses with less than 50 points.

Classes 5 & 6: open to horses with less than 120 points.

Classes 7 & 8: open to all.

Class substitution: if your chosen class is full the organisers reserve the right to move your entry to another class at the same level.

Rosettes: to 6 ^th place.

Prizes: in kind.

SEPTEMBER DRESSAGE AT HICKSTEAD CHAMPIONSHIPS - QUALIFYING RULES

Eligibility

By horse/rider combination in the four championship classes. Horse/rider combinations may qualify at more than one level.

NB: combinations which have qualified for the British Dressage Regional Championships at the relevant level are not eligible.

Qualifying points

A competitor must have won 15 or more points in the Dressage at Hickstead unaffiliated series to qualify for a place in the championships. Points are awarded as follows: 10 for 1 ^st place, 9 for 2 ^nd and so on down to 1 for 10 ^th place at each level. Competitors are required to keep a record of their points won on the qualification card provided.

Amendment of Qualifying Level

The organisers reserve the right at their discretion to amend the points qualifying limit to meet the requirements of available spaces and times.

15+ Horse Competition
